Problem

I am having difficulty placing an order.

Solution

People may have difficulty ordering from electronic bookstores for a variety of reasons. Examine the reasons below to see if any may apply to you. If you cannot resolve the problem, try another Method of Ordering:

Possible Reason 1: You have an older browser that is not compatible with the software that runs our bookstore.

Possible Reason 2: You did not notice that the credit card expiration date fields use two numbers for the month (e.g., 04 for April and four numbers for the year (e.g., 2003, NOT 03).

Possible Reason 3: Your credit card expiration date includes a day and you tried to enter it. Ignore the day. For example, enter 04/31/08 as 04 and 2008.

Possible Reason 4: On the "Billing Information" form you inadvertently entered the credit card number in the "Name" field and your name in the "Card Number" field. This is an easy error to make because the "Name" field is to the right of the "Card Type" field and the "Card Number" field is under the "Card Type" field.

Possible Reason 4: You did not complete the shipping fields. Our Storefront program automatically enters the billing address into the shipping address, so you don't have to type twice. However, if the shipping address is different from the billing address, you need to check the "Clear Shipping Fields" button and then enter the correct shipping address.
