CE Credits:
  As of July 2004, we have obtained approval to issue up to 15 core continuing education contact hours for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists in Georgia.

 

The National Association of Social Workers, Georgia Chapter has also approved the conference for a total of 15-21 core continuing education clock hours for social work licensing purposes.

 

The Georgia Psychological Association has approved selected sessions: (1) Cults 101 (1 CE hour); (2) Analysis of Ex-Members from the Wellspring Retreat and Resource Center (1.5 hrs.); (3) The Cult Phenomenon in Catalunya (1.5 hrs.); (4) Points and Perspectives: Readers and Author Together Discussing Bounded Choice (1.5 hrs.); (5) A Psychological Exploration into the Effects of Former Membership in Extremist Authoritarian Sects (1.5 hrs.); (6) Brainwashing as a Legal Defense (1.5 hrs.); (7) Searching for the "Truth" about Cults and New Religious Movements (1.5 hrs.); (8) Therapeutic Fads, Fallacies, and Fictions (1.5 hrs.)

 

Professionals outside these disciplines or Georgia should check with their state boards to see if conference attendance will be accepted as CE credits.
